Comprehensive landscape plans were prepared for review and approval by the City of Irvine, County of Orange, Irvine Ranch Water District, The Irvine Company, and the Orange County Fire Authority. Due to the site's proximity to environmentally sensitive open space and multiple regulatory jurisdictions, the design balanced the owner's programmatic needs with a complex set of agency requirements. Located within a high fire hazard area, the landscape incorporated native plant species and fuel modification strategies to reduce wildfire risk while preserving the site's environmental character.
